Brent “Mr. Brent” King is the owner and operator of Limelite Photography located in Sumter. With over 30 years of professional experience, there isn’t a situation, or type of photography he has not been in contact with.  Brent holds a degree in Professional Photography from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Florida.  Among his accomplishments in the field of photography, one that he is very proud of is in 1989, his wedding album was chosen as Album of the Year by the Missouri Professional Photographers Association. Recently Brent and Limelite were voted Best Photographer 5 out of the last 8 years.

 

Mr. King is active in the community.  He is a past board member of the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Sumter Merchants Association. He serves on the Chamber’s Red Carpet Breakfast Committee, and is the past chair of the Ambassadors Club, and was the Ambassador of the Year for 5 years straight. He served as President of the Sumter Merchants Association from 1999-2001, and  Chair of Business Expo 97 & 98.  He is a graduate of Leadership Sumter Class VII, and was awarded the 1998 Sumter Merchant of the Year, the 1997 Chamber Volunteer of the year award for his countless amount of hours he has dedicated to their good cause.

 

Brent attends Aldersgate United Methodist Church and is married to the former Pamela Trotter. They have 3 children, Courtney, Allyson, and Tyler and is the proud owner of two dogs, Dazzler and Molly..
